July 18th-Top of Eiffel, Picnic, Vaux=Perfect

This morning we had hoped to go to the top of the Eiffel Tower. We were only able to make it to the second floor due to our time limit before we had to leave to Fountainbleau. It was a really pretty site, after waiting in line for about an hour and a half it was well worth it. There was so many people there, something we had not taken account of before going. Thankfully there was a clown in the center going up to people and surprising them which was really funny. He went on to pretending a bird was on a leash which was the best part.We took a bus to Fountainbleau, a predecessor of Versialles. This place was deemed a royal hunting lodge and a chapel by Louis VII. In one part of the house they decided to make it be a birthing room, this is where Henry III was born. The inside was pretty, every chateau we have been too is starting to remind me of each other. They have lots of rooms filled with gold ceilings and chandeliers. There was been noticable differences in different patterns in flooring though. The best part of Fountainbleau was the back courtyard that was filled with a huge lake. They also had the best sorbet stand ever. After Fountainbleau, we got on the bus to go to the grocery store to get food for a picnic. We were able to eat it in the forest in a picnic area in front of Vaux de Vicomte. ha I'm so glad we were able to do this, it was so much fun. As soon as we pulled down the tree lined lane to Vaux, I knew I was going to love it. We were suppose to have a candlelit tour through the inside and outside, unfortunately we were welcomed by rain. Everywhere we decide to go rain follows us. The inside was cool especially with the candles lit, it really makes me appreciate lighting when you can barely see half the room. The funny part about the inside museum was that they had manikins with projected real life faces speaking. It was almost creepy trying to follow what they were saying. Once we made it to the outside gardens I was very happy. Although still raining, they were so pretty we couldn't help but explore. I loved how they were symmetrical and perfect. No wonder why Louis XIV was jealous of this place and had Nichloas Fonquet killed because of it. The outside wasn't able to be lit up because of rain, but we were able to make it a good time. There was opera music playing in the background everywhere, which is why we decided to make a few movies. The forest behind the gardens had a pathway to go through. This is also where Eva Longoria had her wedding, which if that was ever an option it would definitely happen here for me. It would never be, but I can only hope ha kidding. I loved everything about Vaux, it was definitely my favorite place in Paris and it was a good ending for the week we spent here.
This video is due to the fact of boredom as well as complimentary music provided by Vaux
